Don’t we all love remote work?

No commute to an office, work from wherever you’d like to be, being free to travel around the world are just a few perks of remote work.

However, there is also a downside we should mention: The lack of communication.

When working in an office, you have a colleague sitting next to you, who is usually available for instant communication:

“I have a quick question.”

“Sure! Let me take a look.”

As a person who has several years of on-site and remote working experience, I can say that this is priceless.

I learned a lot from my colleagues. I remember working on an issue for a few hours without moving an inch towards the solution. Then, I asked one of my colleagues, who spotted the problem in a minute.

The case is usually that they had a similar problem before.

In most cases, having a second pair of eyes looking at your code can help a lot.
